When we contacted Pat about the pieces we needed repaired, we thought there was no way to fix the damage our dog had done to the furniture. I was skeptically surprised when I sent him the pics and he said he would be done in 4- 5 hours. We scheduled him for repair here on July 28 at 9 AM. He arrived at 9 AM on the 28th and finished about 1:30 PM. Despite one of our dogs wanting to be his assistant. For whatever reason I cannot find the after pics. But, will post them soon. The professionalism, artistry and skill Pat brings to his trade are remarkable. My wife and I were very pleased with the like new condition he created from scratch. We would highly recommend Pat for any furniture repair you need.

We’re so grateful to Mr. Coomes for his expert help and honesty! He came out to inspect our sofas and recommended a simple fix using a part from Amazon. All four recliners are now working perfectly. On top of that, he charged less than the quoted amount—such a rare and appreciated gesture. Highly recommend his services! 🙌🏼

We had a leather recliner that had broken and gotten droopy. Wasn’t sure if it was fixable and had a hard time finding someone to look at it. Then I found Pat, who did a fantastic job and got it fixed in less than an hour. It’s good as new. Very friendly and reliable too. I highly recommend him.

We have a 3 foot, hand carved, Hopi kachina doll that won the annual Santa Fe Indian Market competition in the carving category 21 years ago. Recently, a cleaning crew damaged the doll which Pete Coomes of Weatherby Guild was able to repair perfectly in three hours. You won't find a better professional in Louisville.

Pat is a true craftsman and he is perfecting to the max. Difficult antique sofa and it finally stands with all of its Chippendale legs!

Great work! Pat fixed my teak deck chair that had been chewed by a puppy. The new piece looks just like the original and after it is exposed to the sun it will match the original wood. Thanks for saving this very comfortable and sentimental piece for me.

Weathersby Guild of Louisville are extremely prompt, friendly and professional. Our furniture damage to brand new solid cherry furniture from professional movers was significant. The furniture color was matched and the damaged cracks and scratches were filled flawlessly. They exceeded our expectations and highly recommend.

Pat Coomes worked magic on our furniture and was extremely easy to work with. I was connected with him by Atlas moving company after multiple items were broken during a long-distance move. Pat fixed some small issues (hinges) as well as rebuilt a chair leg, removed and reattached wobbly and missing legs and reconnected a small table top and a piece of our bed. I was amazed at how he was able to so professionally address each of the variety of issues we had. Two other of our issues were outside of his scope of work and he referred them to true experts in the field. I was very pleased with their work as well, which I believe speaks to the quality he expects. I highly recommend using Pat Coomes for your furniture repair needs and plan to do so myself when we have more issues.

Pat did amazing work on an antique cabinet that had been broken. Looking at the work he did, its almost impossible to tell that anything happened to the piece to begin with. He also gave the finished piece an excellent polish job that really makes the cabinet shine. Would highly recommend!

Pat was very helpful to restore an old chair giving it new life. It was sticky dirty and several of the legs were broken off or in need of repair. He needed to pull out several tools of the trade to get the chair restored. He was very knowledgeable and was able to bring the chair back to us for use in years to come.
